Fore the Ladies is hosting a 9-hole Happy Hour! That's right, we're taking our skills to the golf course at The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club for a post-work round.

For this event, you're welcome to play as you want. Whether that's a scramble or just playing your own ball, these events are the nuts and bolts. You come. You meet other golfers. You play golf. You have fun and pick up when you've had enough playing a hole ;)

If you don't know what a scramble is, it's a format to play golf. The FTL Scramble format includes four golfers all on the same team playing together. Each team member hits a tee shot on each hole. The team then collectively decides which of the four balls is in the best position to play next. After the team decides which ball is best, they mark its position with a tee. Each player retrieves their ball (if it is still retrievable), and plays a shot from that newly designated position. This procedure is repeated for each shot until a ball is holed.

The highest score you'll take on a hole is a double bogey (2-over par for that hole). Once your group knows they'll double bogey, pick up and move on to the next hole! NBD ;)

Tee times will begin at 5 p.m. and when you register you can tell us who you'd like to play with or we'll pair you with someone!

Uplift girls and women through sport at the SHE FLIES Community Festival on Sunday, May 21, from 10 am to 1 pm at Overlook Park. This free, family-friendly event features live fitness activities, interactive exhibits from 30 partners, and the awarding of $125,000 in grants to deserving organizations. No RSVP required. When girls are in, we all win.

Golf for JoyRx is one of my favorite events of the year. When you register to join, you commit to raising funds for JoyRx which, just like the name suggests, helps bring JOY to sick kids through community, mentorship, art and music. You may be tired after all that golf, but you will walk away with a heart full of joy.

The Portland Advertising Federation is now ThinkNW, bringing together the power of the Pacific Northwest's Creative and Marketing Community. Their annual golf tournament is being held at Langdon Farms this year and should prove to be a day full of fun.
